Day 01: Arrival in Zagreb
Upon arrival at Zagreb Airport private transfer to your hotel in Zagreb. Enjoy your first day in Croatia and take your time for first impressions of the Croatian capital. Our English speaking driver will be on your disposal for all you may need during your stay in Croatia and he will assist with recommendations and transfers for the best restaurants or shopping areas in the destination. Day 02: Zagreb Old Town
Late in the morning join your local guide for a pleasant private walking tour of Zagreb Old town. For centuries it has been a focal point of culture and science, and now of commerce and industry as well. It lies on the intersection of important routes between the Adriatic coast and Central Europe. A walking tour usually starts from Zagreb’s main square – Ban Jelacic Square and continues with the visit of two historic settlements – Kaptol and Gradec – from which Zagreb, as a capital city, developed. After walking tour, free time for lunch and feel positive vibrations of this magni cent city. Overnight stay is at the hotel in Zagreb.
Day 03: Plitvice Lakes – Split
After breakfast and check-out from your hotel transfer from Zagreb to the National Park Plitvice Lakes will take place with an route stop in picturesque village Rastoke for coffee break. Upon arrival to Plitvice Lakes meet your local guide for a private walking tour of the National Park, one of the most beautiful natural sites in Croatia. Plitvice Lakes are a unique natural phenomenon – 16 picturesque lakes which are connected by a number of cascading waterfalls. Travertine barriers, which are made in the period of about ten thousand years, are one of the fundamental features of the park. The lakes are renowned for their distinctive colours, ranging from azure to green, grey or blue, depending on the quantity of minerals or organisms in the water and the angle of sunlight. Day 04: Split – Trogir
Dalmatia, arguably the most beautiful region of Croatia, is a paradise for holiday makers because in its quite small territory it comprises many different aspects of tourist offer. In the morning join your local guide for a private walking tour of Split Old town. Split is the main cultural and economic centre of Dalmatia and the second largest city in Croatia. The core of the old town is the famous Diocletian’s Palace constructed by Roman Emperor Diocletian 1700 years ago. Today it is one of the best preserved examples of late ancient architecture. Many remains from the Roman period, as well as from other periods of the past, can be seen in Split. A pleasant walk within Split Old town and a short drive (half an hour) to Trogir, another UNESCO heritage site worth to see. Trogir is a remarkable example of urban continuity. The orthogonal street plan of this island settlement dates back to the Hellenistic period and it was embellished by successive rulers with many ne public and domestic buildings and forti cations. If you want to spend more time in Trogir, our staff will suggest an excellent tavern for your lunch. Drive back to Split. Enjoy your evening walk along the famous Split waterfront, called Riva, to feel the atmosphere of this beautiful city. Overnight stay at your hotel in Split.
Day 05: Island Hvar
Enjoy a private boat excursion to Hvar Island today, the sunniest Croatian island and one of the most beautiful islands in the world. On the way to Hvar you will have the opportunity to see the amazing Pakleni (Hell’s) Islands – a group of small volcanic islands with private and intimate beaches, and then arrive to Hvar. Upon arrival to the city of Hvar take a private walking tour of Hvar Old town with your local guide. On the tour you will discover the essence of Mediterranean hospitality and learn about the heritage and history of the entire island. Day 06: Dubrovnik
Private transfer from Split to Dubrovnik. Welcome to the Pearl of Adriatic! Late in the afternoon your local guide will join you for a private walking tour of Dubrovnik Old town. Dubrovnik is among the 10 best medieval walled cities in the world and in 1979 has been added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. The city of Dubrovnik is both a museum and a picturesque stage where cultural heritage and contemporary life meet. After the sightseeing the vehicle on your disposal will take you to the top of famous hill Srdj above Dubrovnik to drink some cocktails and enjoy amazing views of Dubrovnik area. It is the most famous viewpoint in the region; on a clear day, you can see up to 60 km (37 miles). Enjoy your dinner in one of the best local restaurants, take a pleasant walk along the famous Stradun street. Overnight stay at the hotel in Dubrovnik.
Day 07: Island Korčula
Today meet your driver for a private trip to the Island of Korcula. On the way to Korcula the road passes by numerous oysters and mussels farms, goes through famous vineyard area of Peljesac peninsula. This is great opportunity to explore this beautiful region and experience the natural beauty of the Peljesac Peninsula. Do not miss a chance to make a stop at one of the unique small local restaurant in Ston to enjoy tasting of fresh oysters brought to your table directly from the Adriatic Sea. Later on private boat transfer will take you to the old Venetian town of Korcula on the Island of Korcula. Visit the 15th century town of Korcula, birthplace of Marko Polo, with your local guide. Day 08: Dubrovnik
Today is a day of leisure to explore Dubrovnik Old Town by yourself. Do not miss a chance of drinking your morning coffee while enjoying stunning views of Dubrovnik Old Town and the azure Adriatic. The driver will be on your disposal if you want to visit some interesting places near the city or for your local transfers. We will be happy to recommend some hidden gem depends on your interests. Day 09: Departure day
