8D/7N NEPAL EXPLORER

Your 8 day adventure will start with one of the finest wildlife experiences in the Royal Chitwan National Park. Spot the one horned Rhino or the elusive Bengal Tiger. Also prepare for adrenaline high experiences like canoe ride, elephant back safari, Jungle walk  etc. Your Himalayan experience starts with the lakeside village of Pokhara. The beautiful lakes and the gigantic Himalayan ranges are certain to delight you. You will then explore Kathmandu valley with its beautiful scenery and various UNESCO World Heritage sites. You are bound to want to extend your stay in this beautiful country!

 Day 01: Kathmandu 

Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative and transferred to the hotel. You’re free to explore the city in the evening. (D)

Day 02: Kathmandu-Chitwan     

After breakfast, drive to Chitwan. This offers one of the finest wildlife experiences in Asia. The Royal Chitwan National park, the lush Valley of Chitwan situated in the foothills of Churia ranges, is 75 airmails South West of Kathmandu, houses the first National Park of the Kingdom. The Royal Chitwan National Park is famous or its variety of Wildlife especially the Great Indian One horned Rhinoceros and the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger. There are many Wildlife Lodges/ Camps operating Safari style Lodges within the park area and offer Elephant excursions in the heart of the Jungle to view game.(B/L/D)
 

Day 03: Chitwan – Outdoor activities 

Today you will be escorted by expert naturalist on various exciting activities including
 elephant back safari, Canoe ride, Jungle walk, Bird watching, Slide show, Tharu stick dance etc. (B/L/D)


Day 04: Chitwan – Pokhara   

This morning you will take a scenic drive for Pokhara, “The dreamland of Nepal”. The moment you step into Pokhara that takes you into immediate delights are the gorgeous view of the gigantic Himalayan range and the beautiful lakes. After reach Pokhara free for shopping in lake side area you can visit on your own in free time various parts of the lakeside village, and enjoy one of the most beautiful panoramas in the world made up by the Annapurna Himal, the majestic Machhapuchare and other surrounding snow-capped peaks. Day 05: Pokhara   

After breakfast boating at Fewa lake for 1 hour. At the time of boating you have a chance to see the beautiful Himalayan Panorama, specially (Fishtail)  Annapurna, Machhapuchare, Dhaulagiri Himal. Walk back or drive back to hotel. In the afternoon visiting Davis fall, followed by the Tibetan refugee camp where the barter trading is still being practiced. Then will be visiting old market of Pokhara and Vindhebasini temple as well as Seti George. Drive back to hotel. (B/L/D)  

Day 06: Pokhara – Kathmandu 

After breakfast drive to Kathmandu. You are free to explore Kathmandu at your convenience on reaching.(B/L/D) 

Day 07: Kathmandu

After breakfast visit to Patan, (UNESCO World heritage site in 1979) the oldest and second largest of the three cities in Kathmandu valley. Patan likes to recall its old name LALITPUR (city of beauty). Above all, it remains a proud city of artisans; Patan produces nearly all Nepal’s fine metal work.

Our next destination is visit to Bungmati. This is an approximately 15 minutes’ walk through on the road dividing the Khokana. Khokana is a small Newari Village located just 6 kilometres from Patan. Khokana is a small village in which traditional cragsmanship still takes an important role. Villagers can often be seen spinning, winnowing and crushing mustard seeds. Especially the laler is what Khokana is most famous for, it’s mustard oil. The village has a broad street leading into its centre. On the leg side the three storeys Shree Rudrayani temple can be seen agricultural land. Bungmati, just like Khokana, is a Newari village where traditional life still can be seen. The village houses the typical Newari buildings and has an interesting main square where one can view the Ganesh Temple and the Machhindranath Temple.

After Bungmati and Khokana visit to see famous durbar square of Kathmandu, (UNESCO World heritage site in 1979)  and Hanumandhoka (Hanuman gate) and Kasthamandap dominated by Shiva temple where the “Living virgin Goddess” Kumari lived. By the same time you will see God Shiva and Parvati temple, Narayan temple, Setobhairab, Kalbhairab and Taleju temple, which was builted in 17th century.

Day 08: Departure 

Drive to airport for flight back home with lots of memories in Nepal.   (B)
