Rajasthan is an exotic city which has much to offer in India. The forts and the deserts as well as the beautiful landscapes of the different cities is something that should not be missed. The pink city of Jaipur, the blue city of Jodhpur, the lake city Udaipur and the golden city of Jailsalmer are some of the highlights of this trip. With its fairy tale architecture and culinary options, Rajasthan is bound to impress!
Day 01: Arrive Jaipur
You will arrive at Jaipur International Airport Following customs, immigration formalities and baggage collection, a representative will meet you as you EXIT the ARRIVALS TERMINAL building after which you would be transferred to hotel.
Upon arrival check in at hotel.
Overnight in Jaipur
Day 02: Jaipur – Bikaner
Buffet Breakfast at Hotel. Later enjoy a city tour visiting Amber Fort, the ancient capital of the state. Drive back to the ‘pink city’ of Jaipur and stop at facade of the famous Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds) for the best angle of a perfect picture from outside. Amer Fort is situated about 11 kilometers from Jaipur and was the ancient citadel of the ruling Kachwaha of Amber, before the capital was shifted to the plains, the present day Jaipur. Amer Fort is known for its artistic style of Hindu elements. With its large ramparts, series of gates and cobbled
paths, the fort overlooks the Maota Lake, at its forefront. Also visit Hawa Mahal for a photo stop.
Return to hotel for lunch. Post lunch drive to Bikaner. On arrival check-in at the hotel

Day 03: Bikaner/Jaisalmer
Buffet Breakfast at Hotel. Today, you will proceed on a visit to Junagarh Fort, one of the most interesting forts in Rajasthan, with its sumptuously decorated interiors. Built in 1588 by Raja Rai Singh it is unusual in the sense that it was one of the few major forts of Rajasthan that was not built on a hilltop. Instead, it was built on the desert plains; its rugged sandstone bastions and graceful pavilions and balconies are silhouetted against the sky. You will also visit the National Research Centre on Camel (formerly known as the Camel Breeding farm) located at a distance of about 10 km from Bikaner city. The Centre has developed a camel museum, which attracts the attention of researchers and tourist. Different breeds of camel are produced and preserved at the centre. At present there are about 500 camels with different breeds like Arabic, Bikaneri, Jaisalmeri and Barmeri. Take a camel ride or watch the calves gambolling or participate in an interactive lecture delivered by a traditional camel breeder or sip a cup of camel milk. Lunch at hotel. Then drive to Jaisalmer (330 kms / 06 hrs approx). Upon arrival check in at hotel.Dinner & overnight in Jaisalmer
Day 04: Jaisalmer
Buffet Breakfast at Hotel. This morning, proceed on a full day tour of Jaisalmer. Visit Jaisalmer Fort, the main attraction of this picturesque desert city of Rajasthan. Located on the top of the Trikuta Hill, the ramparts, bastions and the long-stretching walls of the fort dazzle gloriously during early morning and at sunset. Continue on to Gadsisar Lake, a rain water lake,adorned with an arched gateway. Later, visit Patwon-ki-Haveli, the grandest mansion in Jaisalmer, having a ceiling supported by exquisitely carved pillars. The delicately chiselled balconies and extensive corridors and chambers of this haveli also present an impressive sight. Round off the tour with a walk through narrow cobbled street Later in Later in the afternoon, drive to the outskirts to view the sunset on the picturesque sand dunes. The ripples on the wind-caressed dunes creating an enchanting mirage are. surely a delight. An exciting camel ride on the sandy terrain will allow you to get the real feel of the desert.Evening return to the hotel. Lunch, Dinner & overnight in Jaisalmer
Day 05: Jaisalmer – Jodhpur
Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Morning drive to Jodhpur (290 Kms/4.5 hrs). Jodhpur, once the capital of the former princely state of Marwar, is now the second largest city of Rajasthan. Flanked on its western side by the Mehrangarh Fort, and on the eastern side by the stately sandstone Palace of Umaid Bhawan; the monuments temples and gardens of Jodhpur depict a multi-faceted grandeur.Arrive Jodhpur and check in at hotel Lunch at the hotel Afternoon enjoy a half day sightseeing tour of Jodhpur visiting places like the Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada.The Mehrangarh Fort is the most magnificent and one of the largest forts in Rajasthan,situated on a 150 m high hill. It was founded by Rao Jodha in 1459. There are seven gates, which one has to cross before reaching the fort. These gates still bear the marks of the various battles fought in the past. On the wall, adjacent to the Lahapol or ‘Iron Gate’are 15 handprints, the sati marks of the widows of Maharaja Man Singh who threw themselves upon his funeral pyre in 1843.To the left of the Mehrangarh Fort complex is the Jaswant Thada, built by Maharaja Sardar Singh in commemoration of his father, Maharaja Jaswant Singh II in 1899. The Jaswant Thada is a white marble memorial, built out of intricately carved sheets of marble. The sheets are extremely thin and polished so that they excrete a warm glow when illuminated by the sun.Later return to the hotel.Dinner & overnight at the hotel.
Day 06: Jodhpur – Rankpur – Udaipur
After breakfast drive approximately 290 kms, 6 hours to Udaipur enroute visit to Ranakpur, deep in the forest, some 90km from Udaipur is Ranakpur, which boasts some of the most exquisite Jain temples in the country famous for their intricate friezes and sculptures. It is one of the holiest Jain sites of India. Nestled on the banks of the river Maghai and sequestered by mountains, Ranakpur’s beauty is accentuated by its seclusion.The main Chaumukha (four faced) temple was built in 1439 and is dedicated to the first Enlightened One, Adinatha Rishabdeva. An inscription in it traces its origin to the reign of Rana Kumbha. Erected on a raised platform, it is surrounded by 66 subsidiary shrines. It has 1444 beautifully carved pillars, of which no two are alike. Two Jain temples dedicated to Neminath and Parsvanath and a Sun Temple a little distance away are also noteworthy. Lunch at hotel in Ranakpur. After lunch continue your drive to Udaipur. Arrive Udaipur and check in at hotel.
Day 07: Udaipur
Buffet breakfast at the hotel.This morning, you will proceed on a half day city tour.Commence your tour with a visit to the City Palace which stands on a hill on the banks of Lake Pichola, surrounded by crenulated walls. Built in 1567, it is composed of 4 major palaces and several minor palaces that form a single façade. Its main entrance is through a triple arched gate, the Tripolia, built in 1725. The gate leads to a series of courtyards,corridors and gardens. The Rai Angan (Royal Courtyard) has a shrine, which is the oldest part of Udaipur. It is here that Udai Singh met an ascetic who suggested this site for Udaipur. The centrally located 17th century Mor Chowk (Peacock Courtyard) gets its name from inlaid glass mosaics of peacocks on its walls. Other exotic rooms include the Krishna Vilas dedicated to the memory of a 16 year old princess’s tragic suicide, the Zenana Mahal (Palace of the Queens) and the Chini Chitrasala, which has exquisite mosaics and blue and white ceramics. To the west of main gate lies Khush Mahal (Palace of Happiness) and to its south lies Shambhu Niwas, built in the 19th century. The third palace is Shiv Niwas, which is now a hotel.Continue on to Saheliyon-ki-Bari (Garden of the maids of honour), a small ornamental garden which was a popular relaxing spot where royal ladies came for a stroll and hence the name. The garden has many fountains in its four delightful pools, chiselled kiosks and marble elephants.Return to hotel for lunch. Later, in the afternoon enjoy Boat ride on Lake Pichola (Boat on Shared basis-subject to water level). Dinner & overnight in Udaipur
Day 08: Udaipur
Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Morning drive to Jaipur (400 Kms/07 hrs).Enroute visit to Ajmer OR Pushkar. After visit continue your drive to Jaipur. Arrive Jaipur and check-in at the hotel.Dinner & overnight in Jaipur.
Day 09: Departure
Buffet breakfast at the hotel Post breakfast visit City Palace Located in the heart of the walled city, the City Palace Complex gives you an idea about the farsightedness of the founder of Jaipur Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh. It was the seat of the Maharaja of Jaipur, the head of the Kachwaha Rajput clan. The palace is a blend of Mughal and Rajput architecture and the ex-royalfamily still lives in a part of the palace.Jantar Mantar is a collection of architectural astronomical instruments, built by Sawai JaiSingh who was a Rajput king. The title of (King) and Sawai was bestowed on him byEmperor Mohammad Shah. Jai Singh II of Amber built his new capital of Jaipur between 1727 and 1734. It is also located in Ujjain and Mathura.Lunch at the hotel. Afternoon free for shopping with vehicle / driver. Dinner at local restaurant in Jaipur. Prepare for departure to airport.
