6 Halal places in Singapore for you to open your fast

It’s the 9th month in the Islamic Calendar which means the holy month of Ramadan is finally here! For those of you who don’t know, Ramadan comes under the 5 pillars of Islam. This is when Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset consuming no food or drink…and yes not even water! This month commemorates when the Quran was first revealed, so the next 30 days is full of spiritual reflection, spending time with family and friends, and doing good deeds.
Of course, after a full day of fasting, you would want to open your fast with some delicious food, with the right flavours… have you ever tried cooking when you can’t taste your food? It’s definitely not the easiest thing to do. To make life easier, our team at Fayyaz Travels has put together some of our favourite halal eateries in Singapore to enjoy for Iftar.
1. SALTWATER
Located in: 1 Netheravon Rd, Level 1 Village Hotel Changi, Singapore 508502

Here, you have the option to opt for their buffet (perfect for family gatherings because if you’re going with children aged 5 and under- they dine free), which has a great spread of dishes or you have the option to try their À la carte menu, offering a wide selection to satiate your palate. How about trying some of the local favourites like their Laksa, Char Kway Teow, Beef Hor Fun and more. The cherry on-top is their live barbeque station with ALL YOU CAN EAT MEAT that you can enjoy on the weekends for dinner/iftaar (Friday-Sunday). Want some extra deals?
