Those are the questions that will be always in the back of our heads as we desperately wait for better times to come. What this entails is Revenge Travel. Revenge Travel is a term widely used now and refers to the pent-up desire, desperation, and demand for travel.

Read on as we give you the 7 places on our list which we think is the best for revenge travel!

1. OSAKA, JAPAN

Osaka is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Japan. It is one of the must-see cities, known for its charm and being laid back which is why it’s definitely in our top 3 destinations for revenge travel.
The deep history, bright neon lights, mouth-watering food, warm hospitality of the locals, and not to mention the endless shopping and nightlife attractions will keep your day filled with action. Definitely, a place to check out if you haven’t already!

2. MALDIVES

When we think of Maldives, we think of crystal clear waters, white sandy beaches, perfect beach weather with a picturesque view.
Featuring a plethora of resorts to choose from, Maldives is second from our list given its stunning beauty and because it is a great destination to relax and unwind our busy tired bodies.

3. TIBET, CHINA

Widely referred to as the roof of the world, Tibet is a high-altitude destination with mountains and grasslands covering its plateau.
Being a holy and forbidden land, you can find herds of yak munching on grass, tranquil waters, blue skies, and the unique hospitality and food of the local Tibetans. Whether it be going on a new adventure or getting away from crowded cities, Tibet is a must-see place for travelers alike.

4. AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND

Bangkok being the capital of Thailand, is well-loved and a very popular destination for Singaporeans already given its thrift shopping, delicious street foods, affordable airfares, and its proximity between the two countries.
Personally, I know for a fact that Bangkok will be packed with revenge travelers when it is open for tourists due to its distinctive characteristics! It’s bound to leave tourists wanting more!

6. Jeju Island, South Korea

Jeju is South Korea’s most popular holiday island and respectfully so, it deserves its status. Attracting both domestic and international tourists, it’s known for its natural landscapes, fresh seafood, white beaches, and even a dormant volcano.
So, if you’re engaging in revenge travel to South Korea, don’t give Jeju Island a miss as there is so much to explore, and if you do, don’t forget to try their world-famous Abalone and Sushi; given that it is surrounded by the sea!
