8 stunning hotel pools to look out for in 2019

Swimming is pretty much a given if you are going on a summer vacation. Whether it’s a beach, a river, or a lake, you would stand to pack extra clothes for wetter experiences! But there are those of us who aim for higher experiences based on the pools of the hotels they intend to stay in. With this in mind, Fayyaz Travels bring you eight pool options across the world that are sure to up your social media ante when documenting your entire vacation!
1. Marina Bay Sands, Singapore

If you are staying in the most expensive hotel ever built, you should expect that it has the best facilities including its swimming pool. The Marina Bay Sands in Singapore has three 55-storey towers. The hotel’s highly regarded infinity pool is located at the topmost floor on the roof of these towers and gives you a 360-degree view of the Lion City. The pool stretches 150 metres in length, and is surrounded by exclusive restaurants and lush gardens. This feat is on top of the fact that the stunning hotel, on its own, has thousands of luxury rooms and suites to choose from.
2. The Oberoi Udaivilas in Udaipur, India

Udaipur, India, is full of majestic palaces, which is why the pools that exist in this city are made to be fit for royals. Two of these luxurious water bodies are located in The Oberoi Udaivilas. One faces a rambling courtyard while the other one faces the lake. Both pools are fit for defining the word ‘chill’. The hotel, meanwhile, was conceived as a traditional Indian palace but now serves as a contemporary resort highlighting the best of Rajasthani heritage in art and architecture.
3. Amangiri Resorts in Utah, USA

While we are talking about exciting architecture, there is a swimming pool in Utah, USA, that is just too breathtaking not to be mentioned. And it is located in The Amangiri Resorts. The pool lies in the middle of the establishment’s mesa rock formations of the southwest. It overlooks a beautiful desert view in USA’s Grand Circle region. It may not be as sleek as other five-star hotel pools on first impression, but upon closer inspection, it looks to seamlessly blend in with Utah’s stunning natural reserves. Definitely one to take note of if you are a nature lover!
4.Amankila in Bali, Indonesia

Bali, Indonesia, is a paradise with its seemingly untouched nature and clear beaches. Amankila Bali, however, has a swimming pool that will make you feel like you do not have to go to the beach to reap the benefits of floating in clear beds of water. The pool area has great views of the Balinese nature in all of its tropical glory. Nine of the resort’s impressive list of 33 suites come installed with individual private pools. But we have to say that the best one is the hotel’s main infinity pool. The pool cascades three tiers down the hillside, resembling Bali’s beautiful rice paddies.
5. Grace Santorini in Santorini, Greece

If there is a place where swimming pools automatically look like they belong to the gods, it would be Santorini in Greece. The island is filled with white buildings that blend smoothly with the view of the Aegean Sea. Grace Santorini, for one has a good vantage point as it sits on the higher part of the island. Its swimming pool may very well be Santorini’s best modern treasure. Stationed there, you would be offered stunning uninterrupted views of the horizon, especially during the peak of summertime. Those who love watching sunsets should definitely end each day of their vacation here.
6. Four Seasons Resort Hualalai in Big Island, Hawaii

Hawaii is stereotyped by pineapples and beaches, but who knew beautiful pools can be their latest badge of honour? One of these godly water-based offerings can be found at The Four Seasons Resort in Hualalai. This destination hosts a huge pond where you can swim and snorkel, too. The pond is man-made and is filled with saltwater to ensure you experience the best of these seawater activities. It also houses more than 4,000 tropical fish and a few eagle rays. As for its swimming pools, there are five of them to enjoy with your loved ones. The hotel has a lap pool, an adults-only Palm Grove Pool and the family-oriented Sea Shell Pool to choose from.
7. Zoetry Agua in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

Spring breakers will want to go to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, if they are looking for some poolside fun. The Zoetry Agua has a unique swimming pool that doubles as a cut-through river. This makes its pool waters very unique to swim in as the curvy landform it abides by makes you feel like you are in a real river. The pool is lined with palm trees that makes it feel like the Caribbean experience despite the fact that you are, in essence, just by a pool. A word of advice though: the pool is also close to the beach, which might give you dilemmas on where to swim!
8. Hilton Rose Hall Resort & Spa in Jamaica

Jamaica is one of the most underrated destinations for vacation. It may not get the same attention as its Caribbean neighbours, but it has beaches and resorts that are just as good. With the Hilton Rose Hall Resort & Spa, your pooltime in Jamaica will never be boring. Aside from its luxury family-friendly accommodations, the resort has a swimming facility like no other in the country. The pool features a lot of exciting and thrilling features such as a 280-foot water slide, a lazy river, and several waterfalls. Even adults have a reason to enjoy, as the Sugar Mills Falls Water Park that’s central to the hotel has a swim-up bar where they can order cocktails whilst being poolside.
