Itinerary
Upon arrival at Colombo International Airport, our representative will extend a warm welcome to you. Enjoy a short transfer to Negombo, a coastal city, which takes only 20 minutes. Check in at the 3-star Regal Reseau Hotel and take some time to relax. The rest of the day is yours to explore Negombo at your leisure. Please note that dinner is not included on this day.

After breakfast, depart for Dambulla and explore the Golden Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its five sanctuary caves adorned with intricate Buddhist murals, surrounded by lush greenery and playful monkeys. Later in the afternoon, embark on a thrilling 4x4 safari at Minneriya National Park, known for its 3rd-century reservoir and diverse wildlife including elephants, deer, leopards, birds, and butterflies. Conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay at the 3-star Fresco Water Villa or Thilanka Dambulla Hotel in Sigiriya.

Depart in the morning for Sigiriya and visit the iconic Lion Rock fortress, constructed in the 5th century by King Kashyapa, to explore the ancient frescoes depicting "The Maidens of Sigiriya." Afterward, return to the hotel for breakfast and then journey to Matale. Visit a spice garden to discover a variety of native spices and enjoy a spice tea tasting with therapeutic demonstrations. In the evening, arrive in Kandy, the spiritual city and former Hill Capital, where you can explore its vibrant market and visit the renowned Temple of the Tooth Relic. Experience the grandeur of Kandy before returning to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Travel to Peradeniya to explore the Royal Botanical Gardens, established in 1370, which is the largest botanical garden in Sri Lanka and showcases a diverse collection of orchids, a magnificent palm tree avenue, and notable vegetation, such as the impressive Java fig tree. In the afternoon, proceed to Giragama to visit a tea factory and gain insight into the tea-making process. In the evening, embark on the approximately 115km journey to the airport, which takes approximately 3 hours.
