Remember to relax and acclimatize to the altitude on your first day in Tibet.

This tour explores Tibet's two most significant religious sites. First, visit the iconic Potala Palace, the historic seat of the Dalai Lamas since the 17th century. Spend approximately 1.5 to 2 hours exploring its renowned artifacts.Enjoy free time for lunch before strolling around the Potala Palace grounds.Next, head to the revered Jokhang Temple, built in the 7th century to house the Jowo Shakyamuni Statue, an exquisite depiction of Buddha. Conclude your day with a leisurely walk around Barkhor Street.

Day 4: Driving to Shigatse: Yamdrok Lake and Glaciers

Today's journey to Shigatse promises stunning views along Tibet's most scenic roads. Prepare your cameras for the breathtaking sights as we ascend to the Kamba La Pass, reaching almost 4,800 meters. Pause at Yamdrok Lake, known for its mesmerizing turquoise waters. En route to Gyantse, marvel at spectacular glaciers. Explore Gyantse's Pelkor Chode Monastery and Kumbum, Tibet's largest stupa. Finally, we'll arrive in Shigatse late in the evening for an overnight stay.

Today's journey leads us through majestic mountain ranges and high passes, offering stunning views of Everest. We'll arrive at a tent camp near Everest Base Camp by evening. Depending on the conditions, we may visit Rongbuk Monastery, the world's highest monastery. Enjoy dinner and breakfast from the English menu at the tent camp before settling in for the night.

n route to Saga, admire Phelku Tso Lake and the majestic Shishapangma mountain towering above 8,000 meters. Ascend to a high pass for breathtaking views of grasslands before reaching Saga in the evening. Enjoy dinner and check into the hotel.

Day 7: Saga to Manasarovar Lake

En route to Manasarovar Lake, visit a 7th-century local temple and a desert area with sand dunes, offering a unique landscape experience. See Rakshas-Tal Lake, known for its striking color but high salinity, earning it the nickname "dead lake." Spend the evening walking by the lake or opt for a visit to a nearby hot spring with clean facilities. Overnight accommodation is provided in dormitory rooms at the guesthouse.

Day 8: Manasarovar Lake to Darchen

In the morning, visit the 8th-century Chui monastery, known for its important meditation cave of Padma Sambhava. Then, drive to Darchen, a short 40-minute journey, situated on the southern side of Mount Kailash. Take time to explore the city, capture photos of Kailash, and prepare for the upcoming trek. Pack for the 3-day trek, leaving belongings at the hotel. Porters can be arranged in Darchen for a fee. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 9:  Darchen – Dira Puk

We'll begin our early morning trek around Kailash, walking clockwise from Darchen towards the main prayer pole and the sky burial site, significant spots for the Saga Dawa Festival. After lunch at the first tea shop, we'll proceed to Dira Puk Monastery, where we'll spend the night at a guesthouse. Enjoy a spectacular view of the north face of Mount Kailash from the guesthouse.

Day 10: Dira Puk – Zultiul Puk

Early start for breakfast at the tea house before ascending the Dolma La Pass, 5,630 meters/18,600 ft. Enjoy breathtaking views and colorful prayer flags. Descend, cross the river, and stop for lunch at the next tea shop. Finally, trek to Zutiulpuk Monastery for an overnight stay in a guesthouse.

Day 11: Zultiul Puk - Darchen

Today's trek will be short and easy, as we walk through a beautiful valley alongside a mountain river, with stunning views of the east side of Mt. Kailash. Overnight accommodation at the hotel in Darchen, with the option of a hot shower available for an additional fee.

Day 12:  Driving from Darchen to Saga

Today's drive from Darchen to Saga includes scenic stops for photo opportunities. After a 4-hour drive to Parayang, enjoy views of distant mountains, yak herds, and occasionally spot wild donkeys or antelopes. Following lunch, continue the journey to Saga, passing through vast grasslands where nomads often pitch their tents. Overnight stay at Saga hotel.

Day 13: Saga to Shigatse

On the return journey from Saga to Shigatse, we'll pause at Langtso Lake before reaching our hotel in Shigatse.

Day 14: Shigatse to Lhasa

n the morning, visit Tashilumpo Monastery, founded by the first Dalai Lama and seat of the Panchen Lamas, with optional photography in select chapels for a fee. Return to Lhasa via the Friendship Highway, a scenic route along the Brahmaputra River, taking approximately six hours. Enjoy free time in the afternoon to prepare for departure the following day.

Please prepare in advance for your departure. It takes approximately one hour to drive to the airport. We will arrive at the airport three hours before your departure flight if you are traveling to Nepal and two hours before any domestic flight.
