Upon arrival at Bangkok Airport, our guide greets you and transports you to your hotel. After checking in, there’s time to relax and get settled.

Day 02: Bangkok

After breakfast, visit Bangkok's renowned Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew, home to the revered Emerald Buddha, featuring exquisite Thai-European architectural fusion and intricate murals depicting mythical tales. After lunch, immerse yourself in Bangkok's vibrant culture, shopping, and street food. In the evening, explore Bangkok's nocturnal charm via a Tuk Tuk ride, passing illuminated historical sites. Indulge in Northeastern Thai dishes and crispy noodles with a fiery show at an alley kitchen. Wander through the vivid flower market and enjoy local snacks. Admire the stunning temples under the night sky before savoring Bangkok's famous Pad Thai noodles, concluding the tour by or near midnight. Important Note: Dress code for the Grand Palace & Wat Phra Kaew: Men must wear long pants and shirts with sleeves (no tank tops. If you are wearing sandals or flip-flops you must wear socks (no bare feet.) Women must be similarly modestly dressed. Skirts need to fully cover the legs, no see-through clothes, no bare shoulders, etc.

After breakfast at the hotel, it’s time to discover the very best of Bangkok by taking a half day tour to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. OR if you have been to Bangkok and done the floating market already, NOT a PROBLEM. The tour can be replaced with any of the following options at no extra cost: the choice is yours to make! (1) Half Day Damnoen Saduak Floating Market; (2) Half Day Kudi-Chin Heritage Walk; (3) Half Day Experience Rural Life along Mahasawat Klong; (4) Half Day Baipai Thai Cooking School

Day 04: Bangkok - Chiang Rai

After breakfast, transfer to Bangkok airport for your flight to Chiang Rai. Upon arrival, transfer to your chosen hotel. In the afternoon, embark on a cultural journey via a traditional Samlor ride around Chiang Rai's historic landmarks and clock tower. Explore the local fresh market, and visit Wat Phra Kaew, once home to the revered Emerald Buddha during the 13th century. Note: For both men and women entering Buddhist temples in Thailand, please show respect by covering your shoulders and knees.

This morning, we journey to Doi Tung Mountain, ascending narrow mountain roads to visit Lahu and Akha Hilltribes villages. Explore the vibrant culture and traditions of these communities, surrounded by breathtaking farming terraces. At Doi Tung Park, marvel at the Princess Mother's flower garden and the scenic views from Wat Phra That Doi Tung. After relishing a delightful local lunch, proceed to the Golden Triangle, where the Mekong River meets Laos, Burma, and Thailand borders. Discover the history of opium at the Half of Opium Museum, showcasing its global impact and trade routes, confronting the Opium Wars and modern-day issues. Conclude the day's exploration with a transfer back to your hotel.

Day 06: Chiang Rai - Chiang Mai

After breakfast, embark on the journey to Chiang Mai, making a stop at the captivating Wat Rong Khun, the White Temple, boasting extraordinary modern and traditional architectural designs, including depictions of figures like Michael Jackson and Neo from The Matrix. Following a delightful lunch break, visit the ancient Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, perched atop Doi Suthep mountain, accessible via a stunning Naga staircase. Inside, discover a fascinating copper-plated chedi housing Lord Buddha relics, offering magnificent city views on clear days. Finally, transfer to your hotel in Chiang Mai to conclude the day's adventures.

Explore Lisu Lodge, an eco-friendly haven nestled in Mae Taeng District, operated by Lisu hill tribe villagers, offering authentic stays and locally-sourced cuisine. Begin your journey with a traditional welcome drink and a guided village walk to Ton Lung temple, the herbal garden, and the Lisu village head's house, delving into Lisu traditions and daily life. After a delectable home-cooked lunch, return to Chiang Mai, where you'll tour the historic center via a trishaw, witnessing bustling markets and enchanting old temples like Wat Phra Singh. Participate in a Monk Blessing Ceremony, receiving good luck and spiritual blessings, concluding with a discussion with a Buddhist monk for a wholesome cultural experience.

Day 08: Chiang Mai

The first seven days of this tour are eventful, to say the least. So, after breakfast at your hotel, you have a full day of leisure to discover the historic walled city of Chiang Mai on your own or take one of the many optional excursions available through your travel agents or locally through your guide. We suggest learning about the Asian elephants at one of the elephant sanctuaries.

Day 09: Departure

Your last day starts with breakfast at the hotel. At the arranged time, your private driver will transfer you to the airport for your flight to your next destination.
