Arrive at Almaty International Airport and meet your local representative for your transfer and hotel check-in in Almaty, Kazakhstan’s largest city set against the backdrop of the Tian Shan mountains. The remainder of the afternoon is free after your flight before joining a welcome dinner and trip briefing in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay in Almaty.

Depart Almaty in the morning and travel towards Charyn Canyon (229 km, approximately 3–4 hours). Explore the stunning rock formations of the Valley of Castles and the ancient ash tree grove before enjoying a picnic lunch and a guided hike through the canyon. Later, continue towards Saty Village near Kolsay Lakes for dinner and an overnight guesthouse stay surrounded by the mountain landscapes of southeastern Kazakhstan.
