- Welcome to Kunming, the capital of Yunnan Province and one of China's most pleasant cities thanks to its mild climate throughout the year. Upon arrival at Kunming Airport or railway station, meet your local driver and transfer to your hotel in the city centre.
- Known as the "Spring City" and "Flower City", Kunming serves as the gateway to Yunnan and offers a relaxed introduction to southwest China. The remainder of the day is free for you to settle in or explore independently at your own pace.

- Today begins with a visit to the famous Stone Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its towering limestone formations shaped by nature over millions of years. Walking through the stone pathways reveals a unique karst landscape that has become one of Yunnan's most recognised natural attractions.
- Continue to Yuantong Temple, one of Kunming's oldest Buddhist temples, known for its traditional architecture and peaceful setting. The temple remains an important religious site and offers insight into local Buddhist traditions.
- Later, explore Green Lake Park, a popular gathering place for local residents. Depending on the season, visitors may see lotus flowers in bloom or the migration of Black-headed Gulls arriving from Siberia. The park provides an enjoyable glimpse into daily life in Kunming.
- This evening, enjoy a special dinner featuring Yunnan Cross Bridge Rice Noodles, one of the province's best known dishes and an important part of local culinary culture.

- After breakfast, transfer to the railway station and board a high speed train to Dali. Upon arrival, meet your guide and begin exploring one of Yunnan's most historic destinations.
- Visit the iconic Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple, an enduring symbol of Dali set against the backdrop of the Cangshan Mountains and overlooking Erhai Lake. The pagodas have stood for centuries and remain one of the region's most important cultural landmarks. Continue to Chongsheng Temple, once regarded as the royal temple of the ancient Nanzhao Kingdom and known for its panoramic views of the surrounding scenery.
- Later, take an electric cart ride along the ecological corridor beside Erhai Lake, the second-largest highland lake in China. Enjoy views of the lake, traditional Bai villages, green fields, and the Cangshan Mountains that rise beyond the shoreline.
- Spend the remainder of the afternoon exploring Dali Ancient Town independently. Once the capital of the Nanzhao and Dali Kingdoms, the town is known for its well preserved Bai architecture, historic streets, local cafés, and lively evening atmosphere.

- After breakfast, visit Xizhou Local Market, a century old trading hub where local Bai residents gather to sell fresh produce, handicrafts, regional snacks, and seasonal ingredients. It offers an excellent opportunity to observe everyday life and sample local favourites such as Xizhou Baba and Yunnan coffee.
- Continue with a walking tour of Xizhou Ancient Town, widely recognised for its traditional Bai residences and distinctive courtyard architecture. Learn about local customs and, when available, experience the traditional Three Courses of Tea ceremony, which reflects important aspects of Bai culture and philosophy.
- Next, visit Zhoucheng Village, famous for its traditional Bai tie-dye craftsmanship. Recognised as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage, the village preserves techniques that have been passed down through generations, and visitors can observe local artisans at work.
- In the afternoon, travel to Shangri-La, located approximately 300 kilometres from Dali with a drive of around 4 hours. Situated within the Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Shangri-La is known for its Tibetan culture, mountain scenery, and highland landscapes.

- This morning, enjoy a scenic 40 minute drive to Pudacuo National Park, China's first national park and part of the Three Parallel Rivers region. The park is celebrated for its pristine forests, alpine meadows, lakes, and rich biodiversity.
- Travel by sightseeing bus to Shudu Lake (3,705m), the park's largest lake, before continuing to Bita Lake (3,568m), a sacred lake among local Tibetan communities. Easy walking trails allow visitors to enjoy the peaceful views and fresh mountain air.
- Continue to Songzanlin Monastery (3,380m), founded in 1679 and often referred to as the "Little Potala Palace". As the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Yunnan, it combines Tibetan and Han architectural styles and remains an important religious centre.
- Later, explore Dukezong Ancient Town, a Tibetan settlement with more than 1,300 years of history and an important stop along the historic Tea Horse Road. Wander through traditional streets lined with prayer flags, temples, and Tibetan houses before climbing Guishan Hill to see the world's largest prayer wheel and panoramic views across the town.
- In the evening, visit a local Tibetan family to learn about daily life while enjoying traditional snacks and yak butter tea.

- Visit the Upper Tiger Leaping Gorge (1,800m), one of the deepest river gorges in the world. Surrounded by Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Haba Snow Mountain, the gorge offers dramatic views of the powerful Jinsha River below. Walk along the viewing pathways and admire the scenery. An optional lift is available at additional cost for those who prefer to minimise walking.
- Continue to the First Bend of the Yangtze River, where the river makes a remarkable ninety-degree turn. Climb to the observation platform for panoramic views of this famous geographical landmark.
- Upon arrival in Lijiang, explore the UNESCO-listed Lijiang Old Town, an important centre along the ancient Tea Horse Caravan Route. Wander through cobbled streets, traditional Naxi architecture, waterways, and lively squares including Sifang Street.
- Later, visit Black Dragon Pond Park, where the reflection of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain on the pond creates one of Lijiang's most photographed views on clear days.

- Take the cable car to Spruce Meadow (3,240m) and walk through alpine forests while enjoying views of the surrounding peaks. This route has been selected by the supplier as a more relaxed option suitable for most travellers.
- Continue by sightseeing bus to Blue Moon Valley, known for its striking turquoise waters, four scenic lakes, and White Water Terrace. The valley's mountain backdrop makes it one of the most picturesque locations in the region.
- Enjoy a specially arranged Yunnan style Hot Pot lunch while taking in views of the surrounding landscape.
- Later, visit Baisha Village, the ancient capital of the Naxi people and part of the UNESCO-listed Old Town of Lijiang. Explore the famous Baisha Murals, which combine Buddhist, Taoist, and Naxi artistic influences and reflect the region's diverse cultural heritage.
- If time and energy permit, an optional visit to Shuhe Ancient Town may be made before returning to Lijiang. Once an important settlement along the Tea Horse Ancient Road, Shuhe is known for its traditional streets, canals, handicrafts, and quieter atmosphere compared to Lijiang Old Town.
