- Welcome to Vietnam.
- Upon arrival at the airport, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. Check-in is available from 2:00 PM.
- Spend the remainder of the day at leisure to relax and settle into your accommodation before enjoying a Vietnamese dinner.

- Travel approximately 1.5 hours from Ho Chi Minh City to the Cu Chi Tunnels, an extensive underground network associated with Vietnam’s wartime history.
- Begin with an introduction to the Cu Chi area and watch a documentary about the tunnels and the war. Continue underground to see sections of the network and learn how facilities such as weapon factories, hospitals and kitchens operated below ground.
- Those who wish may crawl through sections of the tunnels for a closer look at the underground environment. You will also have the opportunity to try manioc, a staple food eaten by guerrilla fighters during the war.
- A shooting range is available for travellers who wish to try firing selected firearms at additional cost.
- Return to Ho Chi Minh City following the excursion.

- Meet your guide and begin a full day tour of Ho Chi Minh City at Independence Palace, also known as Reunification Palace.
- The programme then covers the Notre Dame Cathedral area and the Central Post Office, notable examples of the city’s French colonial heritage. At the War Remnants Museum, exhibitions provide further insight into the Indochina wars and Vietnam’s wartime history.
- Following lunch at a local restaurant, travel to Cho Lon, Ho Chi Minh City’s Chinatown district, and Thien Hau Pagoda.
- Proceed to Bach Dang Harbour and board the waterbus for a journey along the Saigon River. From the water, view the changing cityscape and landmarks including Vinhomes Central Park, Landmark 81 and Bitexco Financial Tower, together with views towards District 2.
- At approximately 6:00 PM, transfer back to your hotel or the designated meeting point.

- Leave Ho Chi Minh City and travel to My Tho in the Mekong Delta.
- Upon arrival, visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, which dates back to the late 19th century. Board a sampan for a cruise around the four islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise.
- Stop at Unicorn Island and walk along a countryside lane surrounded by orchards. Taste tropical fruits while listening to traditional folk music performed by local residents, followed by a visit to a fruit plantation.
- Board a hand rowed sampan and travel through Thoi Son Canal. Along the way, visit a local family business and honey bee farm, taste honey tea and learn about coconut candy production at a traditional workshop.
- Following lunch at a local restaurant and time to rest, cycle around Tan Thach Village for a glimpse into daily life in the Mekong Delta. Travellers who prefer not to cycle may relax in a hammock.
- Return to Ho Chi Minh City at the end of the excursion.
