Overview
This 10-day Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan Tour from Singapore takes you from Almaty into the mountain and lake regions of southeastern Kazakhstan, then onwards to Tashkent, Bukhara and Samarkand in Uzbekistan. The Kazakhstan section features Charyn Canyon, the Valley of Castles, Kolsay Lakes and Kaindy Lake, including a UAZ off-road journey and a 30–40-minute hike. The route then moves into Uzbekistan for historic city sightseeing across Tashkent, Bukhara and Samarkand.
The journey includes three train sectors within Uzbekistan: Tashkent to Bukhara, Bukhara to Samarkand and Samarkand to Tashkent, together with the included Almaty to Tashkent flight. The final section returns to Tashkent for a day covering the Chimgan Mountains, Amirsoy and Charvak Reservoir, with the Amirsoy chairlift now confirmed as included. Accommodation is based on 4-star hotels, including Region Hotel Park Almaty, with full board meals included in the package pricing.

- Arrive at Almaty International Airport and meet your guide before travelling to the hotel. After check-in, settle in and later gather for a welcome dinner and trip briefing, introducing the route and arrangements for the days ahead.

- After an early breakfast, leave Almaty and travel approximately 229 km to Charyn Canyon, a journey of around 3–4 hours. The route takes you from the city towards one of southeastern Kazakhstan's major natural attractions.
- At Charyn Canyon, explore the rock formations of the Valley of Castles, where tall canyon walls create a distinctive landscape. Continue to the ancient ash tree grove before a picnic lunch and a guided hike through the canyon.
- The day then moves towards Saty Village, located near Kolsay Lakes. Dinner and the overnight stay take place in a traditional homestay, giving the evening a more local setting.

- After breakfast, travel to Kolsay Lakes, where clear mountain waters are surrounded by the highlands of southeastern Kazakhstan. Time here allows you to appreciate the lake setting before continuing towards Kaindy Lake, approximately one hour away.
- The journey to Kaindy Lake uses a UAZ off-road vehicle, followed by a 30–40-minute hike to reach the lake. Kaindy is known for its unusual submerged forest, with tree trunks rising from the water and creating one of the area's most distinctive natural sights.
- Return to Saty Village for lunch before continuing to Almaty. After arriving in the city, check in at the hotel and have dinner.

- After breakfast, spend the day seeing some of Almaty's main city landmarks. Panfilov Park provides a green setting within the city, while the Central State Museum offers an introduction to Kazakhstan's history and heritage.
- Continue to Republic Square, one of Almaty's important central spaces, before travelling up to Kok-Tobe Hill. From the hill, views extend across Almaty towards the surrounding mountains.
- Return to the hotel after the sightseeing programme for dinner and overnight accommodation.

- The historic sightseeing programme covers the Hazrati Imam Complex, Barak-Khan Madrasah, Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum, Juma Mosque and Chorsu Bazaar. Continue into modern Tashkent with a ride on the city's underground metro, followed by Independence Square, Amir Temur Square and the Broadway promenade.
- Dinner and overnight accommodation are in Tashkent.

- After breakfast, travel to the railway station and take the train to Bukhara. Following arrival, continue to the hotel for lunch before beginning an afternoon walking tour through the historic Old City.
- Bukhara has a history spanning more than 2,500 years, and its old centre brings together historic madrasahs, mosques, trading areas and architectural landmarks. The sightseeing includes the Lyabi-Hauz Ensemble, Nodir Devon Begi Madrasah, Kukeldash Madrasah and historic trading domes.
- Continue to Magoki Attori Mosque, Ulugbek Madrasah, Abdulazizkhan Madrasah and the Poi Kalyan Complex, one of the city's major architectural groups.

- Return to the city centre to see the Samanid Mausoleum, Chashma Ayub Mausoleum, Ark Citadel and Bolo-Khauz Mosque. These landmarks add further insight into Bukhara's historic architecture and religious heritage.
- After lunch, travel by train to Samarkand. On arrival, continue to the hotel before dinner at a traditional national house. The evening finishes with a walk through the illuminated streets of Samarkand.

- The Islam Karimov Mausoleum may also be visited as an optional activity. After the sightseeing programme, travel by train to Tashkent and continue to the hotel on arrival.

- After breakfast, leave Tashkent and travel approximately 100 km to the Chimgan Mountains in Ugam-Chatkal National Park. The route passes through villages, gardens and mountain streams, with stops at viewpoints for photographs.
- At Amirsoy, take the chairlift into the mountain area and spend time around the resort's highland surroundings. Continue towards the southern shore of Charvak Reservoir, where the blue waters of Charvak Lake sit among the surrounding mountains.
- Have lunch at a local restaurant before taking photographs overlooking Charvak Lake. Return to Tashkent in the afternoon for a farewell dinner at a local restaurant.
