You will explore Chongqing's hillside districts and riverside landmarks before continuing to Wulong Fairy Mountain and the Three Natural Bridges. Day 1 : Chongqing Arrival

Highlights: Chongqing Airport Arrival, Hotel Check-in

Upon arrival at Chongqing Airport, a scheduled airport pick-up will be arranged according to the tour schedule. Transfer to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 2 : Chongqing City Landmarks and Hongya Cave

Highlights: Li Ziba Light Rail Station, Three Gorges Museum, Grand Hall Exterior, Eighteen Steps, Liberation Square, People's Liberation Monument, Chopstick Art Museum Exterior, August 1st Food Street, Hongya Cave Night View

fter breakfast, visit Li Ziba Light Rail Station, where trains pass through a residential building, making it one of Chongqing's most recognised landmarks. Continue to the Three Gorges Museum and view the Grand Hall from the outside before exploring Eighteen Steps, a historic district that reflects old Chongqing's character.
Later, visit Liberation Square Pedestrian Street, home to the People's Liberation Monument, the exterior of the Chopstick Art Museum, and August 1st Food Street. End the day with the illuminated night view of Hongya Cave, a riverside complex built along the cliffside overlooking the Jialing River.

Day 3 : Historic Streets and Nanbin Road

Highlights: Changjiang Suspension Bridge, Laojun Cave, Huangge Ancient Road, Xiaohao Li Old Street, Longmen Hao Old Street, Nanbin Road Night View

After breakfast, walk across the Changjiang Suspension Bridge before visiting Laojun Cave and Huangge Ancient Road. Continue to Xiaohao Li Old Street and Longmen Hao Old Street, two preserved districts where traditional buildings and local streets offer a glimpse into Chongqing's past.
In the evening, enjoy the night view along Nanbin Road, a popular riverside promenade overlooking the city's skyline.

Day 4 : Wulong Fairy Mountain and Three Natural Bridges

Highlights: Wulong Fairy Mountain Forest Park, Fairy Mountain Small Train, Tian Sheng San Qiao, Rotating Elevator, Eco-Friendly Sightseeing Vehicle, Train to Zhangjiajie

After breakfast, travel to Wulong Fairy Mountain Forest Park, known for its forests, grasslands, and mountain scenery. The visit includes the park's small train, allowing you to explore the area more comfortably.
Continue to Tian Sheng San Qiao, also known as the Three Natural Bridges, one of China's most impressive karst formations. The site features three massive natural stone bridges spanning deep sinkholes and valleys. The visit includes the rotating elevator and eco-friendly sightseeing vehicle.
After sightseeing, transfer to Wulong South Railway Station and board the train to Zhangjiajie. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for check in.

Day 5 : Yuanjiajie, Tianzi Mountain and Ten-Mile Gallery

After breakfast, take the Bailong Elevator to Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, located in the northwestern section of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. This naturally formed mountain platform is surrounded by towering sandstone peaks separated by deep valleys. Visit Hallelujah Mountain and the First Bridge Under Heaven, both among the area's most recognised attractions.
After lunch, travel by coach for approximately 40 minutes to He Long Park and Tianzi Mountain. Tianzi Mountain is known for its mountain peaks, cloud formations, and panoramic viewpoints. There are more than 80 natural viewing platforms throughout the area.
Later, descend by Tianzi Mountain Cable Car and continue to Ten-Mile Gallery within Suoxiyu Scenic Area. Travellers may choose to take the optional tram ride at an additional cost of 8 SGD per person one way.

Day 6 : Tianmen Mountain and Departure

After breakfast, visit Tianmen Mountain by round trip cable car. Standing 1,518 metres above sea level, Tianmen Mountain is one of Zhangjiajie's most visited attractions. During your visit, explore Tianmen Cave, Tongtian Avenue, Ghost Plank Road, Glass Skywalk, and Tianmen Temple.
After lunch, continue to Tujia Folk Customs Park, also known as Tusi Town, where you can learn more about the architecture and traditions of the Tujia ethnic group.
After the tour, transfer to Zhangjiajie Airport or Railway Station for your onward arrangements.

Great family trip to Shanghai, Xi’an and Beijing with smooth overall organization, even with elderly parents. Fayyaz effectively helped with the organization, in particular with our need for a French speaking guide. Miko kept on checking with us during the tour. Christian (Shanghai) and Lily (Xi’an) were excellent — knowledgeable, engaging, and very attentive. Clear explanations, smart pacing, and well-planned visits. Truly top-quality guides. Beijing with Willie was significantly less effective. Limited explanations, difficult communication in French, and the 798 Art District lacked structure and curation. More preparation and guidance , and a guide who speaks French (as requested) would have improved the experience. Shanghai and Xi’an were highlights thanks to Christian and Lily. Will definitely recommend in particular if you have some special request. For language request, next time I will ask to speak with the guide to avoid paying extra for nothing or not much.

I returned near end September from a tremendously enjoyable 11-day solo self drive vacation to Iceland (11th day is actually early morning departure from Iceland), all thanks and appreciation to Fayyaz Travels! In all my family and personal overseas vacations, I always did extensive research followed by bookings of the accommodations, attractions and transport logistics. However due to a last minute change of plans from a self drive vacation in earthquake prone Hokkaido to my dream self drive vacation in Iceland, I decided to engage a local reputed travel agency that specialises in personalised and customised travel. In April, after I booked my return Singapore-Frankfurt-Reykjavik tickets on Singapore Airlines and Icelandair, I contacted Tailwinds Travel, Chan Brothers and Fayyaz Travels, and only Miko from Fayyaz Travels persevered. After receiving the planning fee, Miko spent a lot of his time and energy crafting a 10-day self drive itinerary (10th day is departure from Iceland) that (1) takes me to attractions all around Iceland accessible on the Ring Road, including the renowned Diamond Circle and Golden Circle routes, with the occasional detours (2) puts me in 3-star hotels with private bathroom (3) hopefully fulfils my wish list of seeing the Northern Lights (September to March is the aurora viewing season), whale watching and hiking on a glacier (4) meets my intended budget. I extended the car rental for one more day (i.e. 11 days) to meet my original departure date, to which I did a simple itinerary of driving to attractions on the less travelled yet breathtaking Silver Circle route and Reykjanes Peninsula. Upon receiving payment for the package, Miko then coordinated with the Iceland Ground Team on “locking” the detailed itinerary, hotel bookings and car rental. Based on my request, Miko also included a refund package for Notice of Cancellation of Tour. About 3 weeks before departure, Miko kindly arranged a Teams telecon for pre-departure queries that I may have, of which I queried about the use of credit cards without the 4 digit pin code. On the same day, Miko created a WhatsApp group chat comprising me, him and Dean (from the Iceland Ground team) so that I am in constant contact with them throughout my Iceland trip. The WhatsApp chat group is so important and re-assuring for me! During the planning, Miko wrote “…The stop points that I’ve chosen are not only beautiful but also some of the safest and most convenient along the Ring Road. I want you to have an amazing experience without any stress, and I genuinely think this plan strikes the right balance.” Indeed, this was ever so true! Throughout my self drive in a Hyundai i10 manual car, I safely visited some of the most spectacular natural wonders of Mother Nature/Earth in the Land of Fire and Ice - waterfalls, geysers, mountains, lakes, canyons, coastal cliffs, hexagonal rocks, glacier (yes I hiked Falljökull Glacier), lava cave (yes I took a tour at Vidgelmir Cave) etc and of course the Northern Lights on only one of the ten nights in which I captured on my DSLR camera on a tripod using 15 seconds exposure (most of the hotels are outside the light polluted cities) as well as beautiful man- made attractions (e.g. Haligrimskirkja Church) I can never thank Miko, Dean and Fayyaz Travels for my extremely memorable once-in-a-lifetime Iceland adventure! To this end, I definitely recommend Fayyaz Travels to anyone seeking personalised and stress-free vacation as this travel agency has shown excellent professionalism, service, knowledge and dedication.
