  • Begin the day's sightseeing with Wat Prom Roth, the Shrine of Yeay Teb, Preah Angchek Preah Angchom and the statues of the 12 Angkorian Military Commanders. Continue to Central Market and Artisan d'Angkor, an arts school specialising in carving, with time to shop for local souvenirs.
  • Later, take a private boat trip on Tonle Sap Lake to see the daily life of local communities around the floating village. The visit will be to either Chong Kneas or Kompong Phluk, depending on the tour programme and operating conditions. The experience includes views of floating markets, floating houses, floating schools and fishing activities.

Phnom Kulen is also associated with Mahendraparvata, an ancient urban site and sandstone source connected with the construction of the Angkor temples.
  • Continue to Banteay Srei, an ancient Hindu temple approximately 35 kilometres north of Siem Reap. Built in the 10th century by King Rajendravarman II and dedicated to Shiva, the temple is known for its pink sandstone and detailed carvings.
  • On the return journey, stop at Preah Dak Village to see local community life in the countryside before returning to the hotel in Siem Reap.
