1. Day 1

   Arrival in Chiang Mai and Khantoke Dinner

   

   Highlights: Doi Inthanon National Park, Ang Ka Nature Trail, Royal Twin Pagodas, Doi Inthanon Summit, Wachirathan Waterfall, Sirithan Waterfall

   • After breakfast, meet your private driver and English-speaking guide for the approximately 2 hour drive from Chiang Mai to Doi Inthanon National Park. Begin your exploration with the 360 metre Ang Ka Nature Trail, where you can walk through the cool montane forest while observing the area's unique vegetation and birdlife.
   • Continue to the Royal Twin Pagodas, Phra Mahathat Naphamethanidon and Phra Mahathat Naphaphon Bhumisiri, built to commemorate the 60th birthdays of King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit. Their elevated location provides panoramic views across the surrounding mountain landscapes.
   • Following lunch at a local restaurant, continue to the summit of Doi Inthanon, Thailand's highest peak at 2,565 metres (8,415 feet) above sea level. Afterwards, visit Wachirathan Waterfall and Sirithan Waterfall, both known for their impressive cascades, before making the approximately 2 hour return drive to Chiang Mai. Spend the remainder of the evening at leisure.

   Doi Inthanon National Park

3. Day 3

   Chiang Rai Day Tour

   

   Highlights: Mae Krachan Hot Spring, White Temple, Blue Temple, Karen Hilltribe Village, Black House Museum

   • After breakfast, depart Chiang Mai with your private driver and English-speaking guide for the approximately 3 hour drive to Chiang Rai. Along the journey, stop at Mae Krachan Hot Spring, where local residents traditionally use the naturally heated water to boil eggs.
   • Your first stop in Chiang Rai is Wat Rong Khun or White Temple, a contemporary Buddhist temple distinguished by its intricate white architecture and mirrored glass details that shimmer in the sunlight. Continue to Wat Rong Suea Ten or Blue Temple, recognised for its vivid blue exterior and interior decorated with elaborate carvings and contemporary Buddhist artwork.
   • After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant serving Northern Thai cuisine, visit the Karen Hilltribe Village to learn about the traditions and lifestyle of the Karen community. Before returning to Chiang Mai, stop at Baan Dam or Black House Museum, a unique collection of traditional Northern Thai buildings created by Thai artist Thawan Duchanee and displaying his artworks and artefacts. Afterwards, make the approximately 3 hour drive back to Chiang Mai for your overnight stay.

4. Day 4

   Doi Suthep and Chiang Mai City Tour

   

   Highlights: Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, Hmong Hilltribe Village, Chiang Mai Old City Walls and Moat, Tha Phae Gate, Three Kings Monument, Wat Chedi Luang, Local Market

   • Begin the day with breakfast before meeting your driver for a visit to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, one of Northern Thailand's most important Buddhist temples. Continue to the Hmong Hilltribe Village, where you can learn about the community's traditions and browse locally made handicrafts and souvenirs.
   • After lunch at a local restaurant, continue your Chiang Mai city tour, visiting the ancient city walls and moat, Tha Phae Gate, Three Kings Monument, and Wat Chedi Luang. Conclude the day's sightseeing at one of Chiang Mai's local markets, where you can see local street food vendors and browse handmade souvenirs and handicrafts before returning to your hotel for an evening at leisure.

5. Day 5

   Departure from Chiang Mai
