  • Arrive in Tbilisi and meet your representative for the included transfer to your hotel. Begin your first introduction to Georgia with a guided exploration of Tbilisi's historic Old Town, where cobbled streets, ornate balconies, ancient churches and traditional sulfur bathhouses reflect the city's diverse heritage. Continue to Narikala Fortress for views across the capital before returning to the hotel.

  • Travel to Mtskheta, Georgia's ancient capital and an important centre of Georgian Christianity. Continue to Jvari Monastery, located above the confluence of the rivers and known for its elevated position overlooking the surrounding area.
  • Proceed to Gori for a visit to the Stalin Museum before continuing to Uplistsikhe. Explore this ancient rock-hewn settlement, with its tunnels, halls and ceremonial spaces, before returning to Tbilisi.

  • Leave Tbilisi and travel towards Georgia's mountain region. Stop at Ananuri Fortress, with its medieval towers and churches overlooking the Zhinvali water reservoir, before continuing through Gudauri to the Russian-Georgian Friendship Arc.
  • Continue to Kazbegi and take the included Jeep tour to Gergeti Trinity Church, one of the key experiences of the mountain route. Return towards Tbilisi and take part in an included khinkali master class.
