- Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, meet your local representative in the international arrivals hall for assistance with arrival formalities. You will then be transferred by private air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel, with check-in available from 3:00 PM. The rest of the day is free to relax after your flight or enjoy some time at your own pace. If you would like to add an evening activity, you may join the optional Sound and Light Show.

- After breakfast at the hotel, meet your English-speaking Egyptologist guide and set out to explore Cairo’s best-known historical landmarks. Visit the Giza Pyramids, where the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Menkaure stand on the Giza Plateau, along with the Great Sphinx and Valley Temple. The Giza complex forms part of a UNESCO World Heritage site and offers a closer look at the achievements of ancient Egyptian civilisation.
- Continue to the Egyptian Museum at Tahrir Square, home to a large collection of artefacts that trace Egypt’s history across thousands of years. After the day’s sightseeing, return to your Cairo hotel for the night. An optional Nile dinner cruise is available in the evening for those who would like to add dinner and traditional entertainment to their stay at your own expense.

- Leave Cairo behind and continue south to Luxor, once known as Thebes and an important centre of ancient Egyptian religious life. After your morning flight, meet your local representative at the airport and continue to Karnak Temple. Its enormous columns, courtyards and obelisks reflect the scale of a complex built and expanded by generations of Egyptian rulers. The temple was also connected to Luxor Temple by the Avenue of Sphinxes, an important feature of the ancient city.
- After exploring Karnak, continue to your hotel and settle in for a two-night stay in Luxor. The remainder of the day is free to relax or enjoy the city at your own pace.

- Luxor’s West Bank offers a closer look at the burial places and monuments associated with ancient Egypt’s rulers. Visit the Valley of the Kings, where more than 60 royal tombs have been recorded, followed by the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, built against the rock face at Deir el-Bahari. The visit also includes the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous statues that remain among the area’s best-known ancient landmarks.
- After the day’s discoveries, return to your hotel in Luxor. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure before continuing your journey towards the Red Sea coast.

- The remainder of the day is free to enjoy at your own pace. You may relax at the hotel or spend time by the coast, with swimming, diving and snorkelling available as activities to arrange independently. Dinner is included at the hotel.
