1. Day 1

   Arrival in Almaty, Kazakhstan

   

   Highlights: Almaty, Welcome Dinner, Tour Briefing

   • Welcome to Almaty, where your Central Asia tour begins. Upon arrival at Almaty International Airport, meet your local guide and transfer to your hotel for check-in. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner while receiving a tour briefing about the days ahead. Overnight stay in Almaty.

2. Day 2

   Almaty – Charyn Canyon – Saty Village

   

   Highlights: Charyn Canyon, Valley of Castles, Ash Tree Grove, Saty Village

   • After breakfast, travel to Charyn Canyon, located around 229 km from Almaty. Explore the Valley of Castles and walk through the ancient ash tree grove during a guided hike. Enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing to Saty Village near the Kolsay Lakes. Dinner is served at your homestay, where you'll spend the night and experience local hospitality.

3. Day 3

   Saty – Lake Kaindy – Karakol

   

   Highlights: Lake Kaindy, Karkyra Valley, Przhevalsky Museum, Wooden Orthodox Church, Dungan Mosque

   • After breakfast, drive to Lake Kaindy before continuing by UAZ four-wheel drive vehicle to the starting point of the trail. Enjoy a 30 to 40-minute walk to the lake before returning for lunch. Afterwards, travel to the Kazakhstan–Kyrgyzstan border, where you'll meet your Kyrgyz guide and continue through the Karkyra Valley to Karakol. Upon arrival, visit the Przhevalsky Museum, the Wooden Orthodox Church, and the Dungan Mosque before dinner at a local café. Overnight stay in a guesthouse.

4. Day 4

   Karakol – Jeti-Oguz Gorge – Bokonbaeva

   

   Highlights: Jeti-Oguz Gorge, Lake Issyk-Kul, Bokonbaeva Village, Eagle Hunter Experience

   • Leave Karakol after breakfast and travel to Jeti-Oguz Gorge, where you'll take a short hike to a viewpoint overlooking the surrounding landscape. Continue along the southern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul before arriving in Bokonbaeva Village. Meet a local eagle hunter and learn about this long-standing Kyrgyz tradition. After dinner, check in to your guesthouse for an overnight stay.

5. Day 5

   Bokonbaeva – Kok Moinok Canyon – Chon-Kemin Valley

   

   Highlights: Boom Gorge, Kok Moinok Canyon, Chon-Kemin Valley, Horseback Riding

   • After breakfast, depart for Chon-Kemin Valley with a stop at Boom Gorge for lunch. Continue to Kok Moinok Canyon and enjoy a one-hour walk through its colourful rock formations. Later, arrive in Chon-Kemin Valley for a one-hour horseback riding experience before checking into your guesthouse. Dinner is served before your overnight stay.

6. Day 6

   Chon-Kemin Valley – Burana Tower – Bishkek

   

   Highlights: Burana Tower, Ala-Too Square, Oak Park, Victory Monument

   • After breakfast, travel to Bishkek, stopping at the Burana Tower, a 10th-century Silk Road monument. Continue to Bishkek for lunch before joining a city tour that includes Ala-Too Square, Oak Park, and the Victory Monument. After sightseeing, check in to your hotel, enjoy dinner, and stay overnight in Bishkek.

7. Day 7

   Bishkek – Ala Archa Gorge – Tashkent

   

   Highlights: Ala Archa Gorge, Flight to Tashkent, Tashkent

   • Begin the morning with a visit to Ala Archa Gorge, located about 45 kilometres from Bishkek. Spend time enjoying the natural surroundings before returning to the city for lunch. In the afternoon, transfer to Manas International Airport for your flight to Tashkent. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel before having dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight stay in Tashkent.

8. Day 8

   Tashkent City Tour

   

   Highlights: Barak-Khan Madrasah, Tillya Sheikh Mosque, Chorsu Bazaar, Independence Square, Amir Timur Square

   • After breakfast, explore the historic district of Tashkent with visits to Barak-Khan Madrasah, Tillya Sheikh Mosque, and the Library of Eastern Manuscripts, home to one of the world's oldest Qurans. Continue to Chorsu Bazaar before taking the metro to the modern part of the city to visit the Monument of Courage, Independence Square, and the Romanov Residence. After lunch, visit the Opera and Ballet Theatre and Amir Timur Square before returning to the hotel.

9. Day 9

   Tashkent – Samarkand

   

   Highlights: High-Speed Train, Gur-Emir Mausoleum, Registan Square, Siyab Bazaar, Bibi-Khanym Mosque, Ulugbek Observatory, Shahi Zinda Complex

   • After breakfast, board the high speed train for the journey to Samarkand. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel before beginning a guided tour of one of Central Asia's oldest cities. Visit the Gur-Emir Mausoleum and Registan Square, followed by lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to Siyab Bazaar, Bibi-Khanym Mosque, Ulugbek Observatory, and the Shahi Zinda Complex before returning to your hotel for the evening.

10. Day 10

    Samarkand – Bukhara

    

    Highlights: High-Speed Train, Kalyan Minaret, Chor Minor, Lyabi Hauz, Ark Citadel, Trading Domes

    • Following breakfast, travel by high speed train for 2 hours to Bukhara. After arriving, check in to your hotel before beginning a city tour. Visit the Kalyan Minaret, Chor Minor, and Lyabi Hauz before enjoying lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to the Ark Citadel and explore Bukhara's traditional trading domes, where local handicrafts and souvenirs can be found. Return to your hotel after the tour.

    Bukhara – Mary

    

    Highlights: Farap Border Crossing, Mary

    • After breakfast, depart Bukhara and travel towards the Farap border crossing between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. Following border formalities, continue the journey to the historic town of Mary with a lunch stop along the way. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Mary.

12. Day 12

    Mary – Ancient Merv – Ashgabat

    

    Highlights: Ancient Merv, Silk Road Heritage, Domestic Flight to Ashgabat

    • This morning, visit the ancient city of Merv, one of the important centres of the Silk Road dating back to at least the 6th century BCE. Explore the remains of its city walls, palaces, mosques, mausoleums, and fortresses while learning about its historical significance. After lunch, take a domestic flight to Ashgabat. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure.

13. Day 13

    Exploring Ashgabat

    

    Highlights: Independence Park, National Museum of Turkmenistan, Arch of Neutrality, Wedding Palace, Earthquake Memorial and Museum, Health Path, Ertugrul Gazi Mosque

    • After breakfast, begin your city tour of Ashgabat with a visit to Independence Park before continuing to the National Museum of Turkmenistan to learn about the country's history and culture. Continue to the Arch of Neutrality, followed by lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Wedding Palace, the Earthquake Memorial and Museum, the Health Path, and the Ertugrul Gazi Mosque before returning to your hotel. Dinner is served at a local restaurant before your overnight stay in Ashgabat.

14. Day 14

    Ashgabat – Darvaza Gas Crater

    • After breakfast, leave Ashgabat and travel across the desert to the Darvaza Gas Crater, one of Turkmenistan's most recognised landmarks. Upon arrival, check in to a traditional yurt camp located near the crater and enjoy lunch. Spend the afternoon exploring the surrounding area, taking photographs, and watching the crater as it continues to burn into the evening. Dinner is served at the camp before your overnight stay in the yurt.

15. Day 15

    Darvaza Gas Crater – Ashgabat

    

    Highlights: Darvaza Gas Crater, Return to Ashgabat, Farewell Dinner

    • Wake up to the morning views of the Darvaza Gas Crater before spending some additional time around the site. After lunch, return to Ashgabat and check in to your hotel. The remainder of the afternoon is free for you to explore the city at your own pace before gathering for a farewell dinner at a local restaurant to conclude your Central Asia journey. Overnight stay in Ashgabat.
