Day 01: Arrival

Arriving at Kathmandu Airport, our office representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Trip briefing and you will then have some free time to explore Thamel.

Overnight at hotel on BB basis.

Day 02: Fly to Lukla 2840m and Trek to Phakding (2,630m). 7 km

An early morning breakfast in the hotel and then drive to the airport for the 35-minute scenic flight to Lukla at 2840m. Upon arrival, we go to meet the trekking porters and get ready for the trek.

We begin by descending towards the Dudh Koshi River through the local Sherpa village. Overnight at tea house.

Day 03: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m), 10.5 Km. 6-7 hours walking.

After breakfast we continue along the banks of the DudhKoshi crossing the suspension bridges laden with prayer flags, we reach a place called Manjo, from where Sagarmartha National Park. After entering the national park, the trail goes steeply up, with breathtaking views for more than 2 hours to reach Namche Bazar. It is a beautiful walk through the Rhododendron and pine forest. (Overnight at tea house)

Acclimatization day, we don’t do much walking today but we will enjoy breathtaking views of the white mountains including the top of the world (your first view of Everest) from the viewpoint just above Namche.

We visit a local Sherpa museum, and the national park headquarters office and take a little walk around Namche bazaar. (Overnight at tea house)

Day 05: Namche to Debuche (3,800m), 13 Km. 6 hours walking.

The trekking trail is plain and en route the trail will descend slightly to Dudhkoshi at 3250m. And climb up to Tengboche. And today’s view from the trekking will be incredible including Mount Everest.

Visit Tengboche Gompa, which has a background of Ama Dablam, Mt. Everest, and trek another hour to Debuche for overnight stay.

The trail slightly descends through lush forest in the beginning, then gradually climbs up to the valley’s highest year-round settlement of Pangboche (3,860m).

You will continue ascending in the afternoon through alpine meadows and yak herds; finally reaching Dingboche overnight.

Go higher sleep lower, better to use this method to acclimatize your body. Today we will hike to the nearest hill from where you can have beautiful photo-taking opportunities.

There are up close views of Taweche, Ama Dablam, Cholatse, Island Peak, and Thamserku, as well as Imja Valley. Stay the night in Dingboche.

We will walk along the riverside which is from Khumbu glacier for 2 hours and we cross the frozen river and climb to the top of a small hill called Thukla. There are many monuments to Everest climbers along this route.

From the Thukla hill, gradually ascent towards Labuche and stay overnight at Tea House. Approx 4-5 hrs.

Day 09: Labuche to Gorakshep to Everest Base Camp (5,365m) 11.4 Km. 7 hours

We will get an early start for our trek to Everest Base Camp. After 2-3 hours of hiking we reach Gorakshep (5190m) which is your overnight stay place, check in the room leave your bags enjoy the hot foods, and continue the trek to Everest base camp (5365m) for another 2 hours.
From EBC, the view is one of the most spectacular anywhere in the World, after a few photographs you will return to the Gorakshep same route which takes about 1.5 hours.

Day 10: Hike to Kalapattar (5545m.) and back down to Pheriche(4240m), 15.9 km. 7-8 hours.

Early morning hike to Kalapattar(1.9km) 2 hours, for sunrise view, one of the best views from the EBC trip. After taking a few snaps while you are on the top of Kalapattar, return to Gorakshep for breakfast.

Check out from the tea house and trek down to Pheriche for the night.

Day 11: Trek back to Namche Bazar (3440m,) 18 km. 8 hours.

You will descend approximately 800 m. all the down to Namche Bazaar same route and stay overnight at the tea house, enjoy a hot shower and good food, and have goodnight sleep.

It's a long walk but it’s easier to go downhill, at least you can breathe.

Day 12: Trek back to Lukla (2840m.) 16.4 km. 7-8 hours.

Namche to Lukla drop down 600m. And enjoy your last night at the Himalayas.

Time to say bye-bye to your porters and thank them for carrying your bag pack. your guide will arrange the boarding pass and have another scenic flight back to Kathmandu. After check-in and settling down will be a free and easy programme.

Transfer to the International airport for your onward journey.
