Itinerary
- Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, meet and greet by local tour guide and transfer to the city center. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a half-day city tour of Saigon. Visit the Notre Dame Cathedral of Saigon, one of the oldest churches and the top famous attractions in Ho Chi Minh City. The next stop is the Old Post Office, a fantastic French Colonial architecture building having Roman arches and gilded glass windows. The last stop for the day is the Reunification Palace, a historical monument that has in itself the essence of Eastern culture. Dinner at a local restaurant and rest at the hotel.
- After breakfast, proceed to visit Cu Chi Tunnels, a network of tunnels more than 200km long and 3 – 8 m deep, dug during the warfare days. Next, proceed to the War Remnant Museum, also known as the Museum of Chinese and American War Crimes, the most popular museum in the city. Just outside of it is the People’s Committee Hall, one of the oldest, biggest, and most beautiful French-style buildings in the city, functioning both as a city institution. Lastly, visit the city’s most prominent landmark today
- French Opera House stands the magnificent Saigon Opera House with the iconic Caryatid statues.
- Breakfast at the hotel. Today, enjoy a Mekong Delta excursion to My Tho - about 75km from the city. On the way, visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, the greatest pagoda of Tien Giang Province. Take a leisurely boat ride along the river. Visit to Thoi Son Islet and The Fruit Garden to enjoy the fresh fruit. Enjoy Vietnamese local food served with special “Elephant Ear Fish”. Shopping time at Ben Thanh Market before heading back to the hotel.
