1. Day 1

   Arrival in Siem Reap, Angkor Thom and Angkor Wat

   

   Highlights: Angkor Thom, South Gate, Bayon Temple, Baphuon, Phimeanakas, Terrace of the Elephants, Terrace of the Leper King, Sour Proath (Twelve Towers), Preah Palilay, Ta Prohm, Angkor Wat

   • Upon arrival at Siem Reap International Airport, meet your guide and travel by private air-conditioned vehicle to the ancient city of Angkor Thom, built between 1180 and 1220 AD by King Jayavarman VII.Explore the South Gate before visiting Bayon Temple, Baphuon, Phimeanakas, the Terrace of the Elephants, the Terrace of the Leper King, Sour Proath (Twelve Towers) and Preah Palilay. Continue to Ta Prohm, one of Angkor's best known temples where centuries-old trees have become intertwined with the historic stone structures, creating one of the site's most distinctive settings.
   • Lunch is served at a local restaurant before checking into your 4-star hotel or similar for a two night stay. At approximately 3:00 PM, continue to Angkor Wat, Cambodia's largest Hindu temple, built by King Suryavarman II during the early 12th century and dedicated to Vishnu. Spend time exploring this UNESCO World Heritage monument before returning to your hotel for the evening.

2. Day 2

   Phnom Kulen and Kompong Pluk Floating Village

   

   Highlights: Phnom Kulen, River of a Thousand Lingas, Grand Reclining Buddha, Waterfall, Kompong Pluk Floating Village, Traditional Boat Cruise, Central Market, Apsara Cultural Dance Show

   • Breakfast is served at the hotel before travelling approximately 55 km north of Siem Reap to Phnom Kulen National Park. Widely recognised as the birthplace of the Khmer Empire, the mountain is home to the River of a Thousand Lingas, where intricate carvings appear beneath the flowing water. Continue to the Grand Reclining Buddha before visiting the natural waterfall, one of the area's best known attractions.
   • After lunch at a local restaurant, continue to Kompong Pluk for a traditional wooden boat excursion through one of Cambodia's largest floating communities. Observe daily life along the waterways, including floating houses, markets and schools, before visiting the Central Market for shopping. In the evening, enjoy dinner while watching a traditional Cambodian Apsara Cultural Dance Show before returning to your hotel.

3. Day 3

   Departure from Siem Reap

   

   Highlights: Leisure Time, Airport Transfer
