1. Day 1

   Arrival at Athens

   • Upon arrival at El. Venizelos Airport, you'll clear immigration and collect your baggage before heading to a 4-star hotel in Athens for a one-night stay, with breakfast included. After checking in, enjoy a free and easy evening to explore Athens at your leisure. Whether you choose to wander around the hotel area, discover nearby attractions, or indulge in local cuisine, the evening is yours to experience the city at your own pace. This relaxed itinerary allows you to settle in and get accustomed to Athens comfortably.
2. Day 2

   Delphi

   

   Highlights: Delphi, Kalambaka

   • Drive through the fertile region of Boeotia, passing by Thebes, Livadia, and the charming village of Arachova. Upon arrival in Delphi, explore the Archaeological Site before continuing to Kalambaka, a quaint town near the awe-inspiring Meteora rocks. Afterward, return to Delphi for dinner and an overnight stay. As night falls, take a peaceful stroll through Delphi's enchanting streets, where the tranquil atmosphere adds to the town's magical charm.

3. Day 3

   Meteora to Thessaloniki

   

   Highlights: Meteora, Valley of Tempi, Mount Olympus, Thessaloniki

   • Visit the breathtaking Meteora, where ancient monasteries perch atop towering rocks, seemingly floating in the air. Explore these sacred sites and admire the beautiful Byzantine art within them. Depart from Kalambaka, driving through the plain of Thessaly and passing through the scenic Valley of Tempi. Along the way, marvel at the majestic Mount Olympus, the highest mountain in Greece and legendary home of the 12 Greek Gods. Arrive in Thessaloniki, Greece's second largest and most vibrant city, where you'll enjoy dinner and stay overnight.

4. Day 4

   Explore the Byzantine Legacy

   

   Highlights: Byzantine Culture

   • Begin your morning by visiting a city second only to Constantinople during the Byzantine Empire. Explore its unique monuments and immerse yourself in the rich Byzantine history. Visit some of the oldest and most renowned churches in the Christian world, and tour the Museum of Byzantine Culture, which won the Council of Europe's Museum Prize in 2005. Spend the rest of the day enjoying the lively city center at your leisure. Dinner and an overnight stay are included.

5. Day 5

   Historical Macedonia Tour

   

   Highlights: Edessa, Naoussa, Vergina, and Veria

   • Depart in the morning for a historical tour of Macedonia, starting with the scenic town of Edessa to view its famous waterfalls. Continue to Naoussa to visit Aristotle's School, where he taught Alexander the Great. Drive to Vergina to explore the Museum in the Great Tumulus, showcasing the royal tombs of Macedonia, including the tomb of King Philip II. Then, visit Veria to see Saint Paul's Bema and stroll through the old Jewish neighborhood and market. Return to Thessaloniki for dinner and an overnight stay.

6. Day 6

   Trip to Pella and Dion, Ending in Athens

   

   Highlights: Dion, Thessaly, Lamia, Thermopylae

   • Drive to Pella, the capital of Alexander the Great, to admire the stunning 4th-century B.C. floor mosaics in the ancient villas and visit the new museum. Continue to the Archaeological Park of Dion, the sacred city of the Macedonians, nestled at the foot of Mount Olympus. After exploring Dion, drive south through Thessaly, Lamia, and Thermopylae, where you'll see the Leonidas Monument, and then pass through Thebes. Arrive in Athens late in the afternoon.

7. Day 7

   Half-Day Athens Sightseeing with Acropolis Museum

   

   Highlights: Acropolis Museum, The Propylaea, The Temple of Athena Nike, The Erechtheion, The Parthenon

   • After breakfast, begin your Athens sightseeing tour, starting with a visit to the Panathenaic Stadium, the site of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. Pass by notable landmarks such as the Prime Minister's residence, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian's Arch, the Parliament, and the Academy. On the Acropolis, explore the architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age, including the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion, and the Parthenon. Conclude your tour with a visit to the Acropolis Museum, where you'll see the wonders of the classical era.
