Travelling during June to September

This is officially the rainy season. But locals don’t stop travelling and neither do most return visitors. Prices are lower, places are quieter and if you’ve got a bit of flexibility, it can still be a great time to go.

Cebu, Bohol and Mindanao tend to hold up better with the weather. It might rain in the afternoon then clear up by dinner. Pack a light rain jacket and don’t plan too tightly. Plenty of people still swim, surf and sail during these months.
